Friday The 13th 2009
I wanted to let you know that on February 13th 2009 the new Friday The 13th will be playing at theaters. This is not a continuation of the last one made but a remake. When I first heard that there was going to be another Friday the 13th I thought to myself how are they going to bring Jason back this time? Well I am a little disappointed I wish it were a continuation and not a remake. It’s a proven fact that remakes of old horror flicks usually are not very good.
The story line will be pretty much the same, some kids go to Camp Crystal Lake where it all began and start disappearing one by one when they cross paths with the masked, machete wheeling madman. The film will be starring Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker and Derek Mears will be playing Jason. The original Friday the 13th was released in 1980 and the last one was called Jason X which was in 2001.
Despite this being a remake I am a fan of Jason (Kane Hodder actor I liked the best as Jason) and I am looking forward to watching this movie. I think one of the factors that made the original so creepy was the musical score. Anyway just a heads up on the release or should I say a heads off!
