My Bloody Valentine 3-D
Starring: Kevin Tighe, Jensen Ackles, Jaime King, Kerr Smith, Betsy Rue and Edi Gathegi
The story is about an inexperienced coal miner who caused an accident that ended up killing 5 men and putting 1 into a coma that lasted for a year. He came out of the coma on Valentine’s Day and killed 22 people with a pick axe before being killed himself.
Now 10 years later on Valentine’s Day the man who caused the accident returns to his hometown where it happened, and the killings begin happening all over again by a man wearing a minors mask and using a pick axe.
The 3-D effect definitely made the film worthwhile, if not for that it’s just another slasher movie. There is definitely alot of gore and throughout the movie you will be dodging body parts, tree branches and pick axes. The plot is so ridiculous and is much like the 1981 original. The film is lacking in suspense and I never heard of any of the actors except Kevin Tighe I remember him from the TV series Emergency from the 70’s. For the most part the acting was decent but the only thing the movie has going for it is the special effects. I recommend not taking your children to see this one and I give it a rating of a 4.
