Starring: Isla Fisher, Hugh Dancy, Krysten Ritter, Joan Cusack, John Goodman, John Lithgow and Kristen Scott Thomas

The story is about a compulsive shopper that after graduating college inadvertently lands a job writing as a financial journalist and it just so happens to be in a city which feeds her shopping weakness. There she meets and falls for a wealthy tycoon in the process of obtaining her dream of writing for a well known trendy fashion magazine.

A very cute romantic comedy with some unlikely outcomes that are indeed humorous. Isla Fisher takes on the challenge of playing a dazed woman lacking intelligence with an intense desire for shopping and certainly delivers. The supporting cast held their own and there were even a few surprise appearances from some other known actors. All though this film would never be Oscar worthy the story is perfectly comprehensible and I found it very entertaining. I give it a rating of a 5.
