The story is about a man who is in prison for life and after not hearing from his family in fourteen years he receives a letter stating that his daughter is very ill and close to death. After reading the letter he decides to try and come up with a plan to break out of prison so that he can have one last chance with his daughter to set things right.
This is one hell of a good thriller! I was captivated and drawn to this movie from the start and wasn’t budging from my seat for a moment. The movie starts off with some prisoners trying to escape, then as the movie progresses there starts to be a series of flashbacks to before the escape and the planning of it all. I have to say that in the first half hour to 45 minutes I was a bit confused. As the film goes on more and more pieces of the puzzle start to fit together and you begin to understand.
Brian Cox in the leading role is simply outstanding, I don’t think anyone could of played his part better. The supporting cast all were important and remarkable making us aware of the harsh reality of prison life. The music and the setting in the underground tunnels of London all adding immensely to this tense and exciting risky venture of trying to escape into the outside world.
There are so many twists and turns and truly an exceptional perplexing thriller, so chilling and with a tenuous and unexpected payoff in the end. It is definitely a movie that I would watch again and maybe again in hopes of picking up clues, understanding more or just something that I may have missed. I give it a rating of a 8.

Starring: Jesse Eisenberg, Kelsey Ford, Michael Zegan, Ryan McFarland, Jack Gilpin, Wendie Malick and Matt Bush
The story is about a recent college grad who takes a job at a local amusement park in the summer of 1987 only to find out that it might be the worst job he ever took but turns out to be the best times of his life and is the perfect opportunity to get him prepared for the real world.
The movie has some great 80’s pop music that i really enjoyed. All though the movie started off a little slow it lets you in on the character and reason for Jesse Eisenberg’s role and how he came about landing such a terrible job at an amusement park. All the characters are believable and the film has some heartfelt emotions going from serious touching and sentimental to funny and even funnier. The plot is somewhat predictable but it was very enjoyable watching the grad going from probably his worst summer ever to finding the right path his life needed to take.
Very enjoyable and funny with some decent actors. Definitely a film that left me smiling with some feel good moments that we all like to coddle in sometimes. My rating is a 6.

Starring: Seth Rogen, Ray Liotta, Michael Peria, Anna Faris, Dan Bakkedahl, Jesse Plemons, John Yuan and Collette Wolfe
Seth Rogen plays the head of security at a mall as a guard who is bi-polar and waiting for the day when he can become a real officer with a badge and a gun. When a flasher comes to the mall and terrorizes them Rogen must capture him before the real police do in hopes of securing a place in the police academy for the solution to the crime and conceivably winning the heart of a makeup counter girl with whom he is in awe of.
I have pretty much liked all the recent comedy movies I have seen with Seth Rogen especially Pineapple Express and this one he didn’t let me down. Also Anna Faris from the movie The House Bunny is a very good comedian and the two of them together made for some excellent and very funny entertainment. Surprisingly there was quite a bit of violence although brief some of it was very funny and you really don’t expect it.
If you are into dark comedies and don’t mind male nudity then I highly recommend watching this film. Some shock factors throughout and side splitting comedy made this movie very entertaining and the casting was unrivalled. I give it a a rating of a 7.
